Went to this faunceh place for dinner tonight. Interesting former water pumping station, with examples of equipment on display. Very good food, too, and great views of the river.

$25-40 entrees. $12-15 appetizers.

We remarked that the prices were similar to uptown Charlotte nice restaurants, but we didn’t have to pay for parking.

Absolutely, great dishes, well-conceived and well-executed, with decent portion sizes, too (not always the case with pricey places, in my experience).

In fact, my wife is taking her dad back there next week when he is in town.
